An Oxfordshire-based business energy supplier, which prides itself on being a trusted alternative to the industry’s ‘big six’, is ending the first month of 2024 with a trio of positive announcements.

 

Having reached a business milestone at the tail end of the year, achieving a customer base of 30,000 SMEs, Valda Energy in Bicester, is now setting its sights firmly on further strengthening its growth this year and continuing to focus on its service-orientated commitment to customers.

 

Steve James, Valda’s CEO, comments: “We accelerated our progress last year by strengthening our team and recruiting the right people who were a great fit for the business.

In addition to this, Valda’s recent expansion to a bigger office location to accommodate its new internal structure has been a key move for the business to allow for future growth, facilitate greater cross team collaboration and importantly create an even more positive working environment.

 

Daljeet Kaur, Operations Director at Valda, adds: “The office expansion has been fundamental for our development and to facilitate our team. Certainly, over the last two years, as we have challenged the SME supplier market, we have grown to become a reliable and viable alternative to the current crop of suppliers – as evidenced by our increasing numbers of new customers.

 

“We know all too well that energy rises can have a detrimental effect on many companies, but there are ways to offset these concerns and we pride ourselves on being able to create innovative solutions tailored to individual companies.”
