4. Your account's charges

This figure is calculated based on the amount of energy you have used between the two dates shown. Your usage is calculated from your meter reads we receive. If you don’t have a smart meter, providing regular meter reads helps us accurately calculate your bills.

To ensure you only pay for what you've used, please submit regular meter reads through the Valda Customer Portal.

For those eligible for the Energy Bill Discount Scheme, the gas and electricity charges shown already incorporates your discount.

5. Current balance

This is your balance at the end of this billing period.

A negative balance (e.g. -£500) means you are in credit. If you were to switch from us, that amount of credit you have accrued will be returned to you.

For those eligible for the Energy Bill Discount Scheme, the New Account Balance shown already incorporates your discount.

6. Payment due date and how to pay

This section informs you when your payment is due. Depending on your chosen payment method, this area will look different. The invoice example shows how it looks for recurring card payment, credit card, debit card, standing order and Bacs.
